February 20, 2019: Best Practices, Part 3: Text in the e-sign message box

During the month of February, we are going back to basics by sharing best practices to use when submitting e-signs.

Part 1 was about submitting larger photos and short text. In Part 2, we talked about pre-designs and attachments. Now in Part 3, we'll highlight making sure text is entered into the e-sign message box correctly.

Best Practice, Part 3: Remember to include all of your text in the message box.

In order to process your e-signs in a timely manner, we need all of the text typed (or copy and pasted) into the message box. Please do not submit attachments with text. This slows down our production process for you and and your fellow submitters, while also causing other problems. We cannot ensure messages submitted incorrectly will be posted on time.

When submitting your text into the e-sign message box, please remember:

  • Add dates, times and locations for meetings
  • Make sure dates and times are accurate
  • Double check that names are spelled correctly
  • Keep e-signs short and concise
  • If you need an e-sign posted at more than one site or have additional notes about your e-sign, you can include them here.

Following these tips will ensure that your e-signs are designed and posted in a timely manner. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know!
