During the month of February, we are going back to basics by sharing best practices you can use when submitting e-signs.
Best Practice: Big photos & short text
Our e-signs are present in many environments throughout the business. The screens are in manufacturing facilities, HLCs, offices and break rooms. Because of this, we have to make sure that people can get the messages we share quickly.
Large, clear photos are always a great way to recognize employees or improvements going on at your site(s). Remember to send the original photos in the largest size possible so our designers can resize as needed.
Along with large photos comes the need for shorter text. Regardless of whether you’re submitting a photo or not, please remember that e-signs only display for 15-20 seconds. The message should be be short and simple. We like to aim for 50 words or less, but 30 is even better.
Below are some great examples of e-signs with large photos and short text. Feel free to contact us and let us know if you need help or have questions!

Our e-sign channel provides a unique opportunity to communicate with employees consistently and efficiently. We hope you’ll partner with us by submitting compelling content for your e-signs, providing feedback on the system and helping us continually develop this community of practice. If someone at your site is currently submitting e-signs but is not on this list, please let us know so we can add them.
