The following is a preview from the July 2019 issue of The Scoop, the quarterly printed magazine for Dal-Tile team members. The issue will be mailed to team members’ home addresses and posted in PDF format to myMohawk later this month.
Two Daltile Design Studios remodeled in May and a brand new one opened in June are helping put our best faces forward for interior designers, architects and the customers they serve.
The newly updated Seattle showroom is near the Seattle Design Center, the hub of the Pacific Northwest design community in the Georgetown neighborhood.
Remodeled in mid-May, the showroom features Daltile-, American Olean-, and Marazzi-brand products.
The Chicago showroom, remodeled in late May, features Daltile-brand products.
It’s located downtown in the River North Design District, a design community just outside the Chicago Merchandise Mart, that offers many interior design offerings for both designers and consumers.
Plus, Dal-Tile opened its first Design Studio in Canada — in downtown Toronto — in June.
“We’re embarking on a blended concept with Mohawk with a curated offering of Daltile- and American Olean-brand tile, plus Mohawk- and Durkan-brand carpet products,” said Corinthia Runge, Gallery and Showroom Operations manager. “Once achieved, the Toronto Design Studio will be the first Living Building Challenge Petal Certified and Well Certified building in Canada, and one of the few in the world!”
Dal-Tile teammates Grace Barone, Agnes Grudzien, Beatrice Mikulasko, and Marcie Boyd work on product installations at the new Toronto Design Studio in late May.
