If your responsibilities include the management of time, component pay or incentive pay in Kronos, then you will need to review employee files in the system prior to 6:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday, May 28, due to the holiday Payroll schedule.
The Payroll Department will be closed on Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day, which means, payroll will be processed on Tuesday, May 28, for the week ending May 25.
Kronos time, incentive pay and component pay will be pulled promptly at 6:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday, May 28.
All hours, incentive pay and component pay for the week ending May 25 must be entered, reviewed and corrected as necessary in Kronos prior to 6:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday, May 28.
If you will not be able to complete the review process for your employees because you will not have access to Kronos between Friday evening and Tuesday morning, please delegate the authority to review in Kronos to a member of your department OR contact your HR partner to determine who can complete this process for your employees.
Again, if an employee’s hours, component pay or incentive pay have not been reviewed for accuracy and pay is incorrectly issued, this situation cannot be immediately remedied because Payroll is no longer permitted to cut manual checks. You will have to explain any errors to your employees and work with them to address shortages in pay until the next pay cycle.
If you have any questions or concerns about this timeline, please contact Linda Roden at #42211 or Karen Cannon at #42625.
